Professional photography for commercial portraits and actors’ headshots covering the East Midlands.

I can photograph in any location of your choice, with my portable studio. This has allowed me to photograph portraits from the middle of a field to the Royal Albert Hall. I cover all areas of Leicestershire, Derby and Nottingham and most areas of the UK.

Since 2009, I’ve been commissioned to photograph various national actors and actresses in the theatre, artists, dancers and numerous businesspeople. I am here to help show who you are and what you’d like to represent.

  

Actors’ Headshots

Prior to your portrait session, we can discuss ideas and plan the style of your photoshoot. Whether you want to demonstrate specific emotions, try different outfit changes or show your character types; the most important aspect is to represent your range as an actor.

The delivered images will be tailored for both web and print use. You can use your digital files as part of your social profile; for example Instagram and Facebook. Your high quality images can be used for flyers, poster distribution and magazine work.

Commercial Headshots

There will be a degree of planning beforehand to discuss how you would like to represent yourself. I can help expose the level of professionalism you wish to portray within your images. The choice of location is up to you, whether it’s in my studio based in Leicester, or somewhere more suitable to your needs. These elements can contribute to a more authentic impression, to show your sense of charisma and approachability.

  

Putting you at ease

It’s perfectly natural to have reservations when having your portrait taken; this is why I suggest a meet up or phone call to talk about ideas. I’ve photographed actors, artists and businesspeople across a number of years and built a strong rapport with many of them. I chat and listen to you and explain what lighting, positions and expressions suit you.

As for my personal approach to photography, my images are subtle and soulful. I do retouch your images to provide additional punch and style.

Whatever your approach is, I provide the convenience of flexibility for a natural outdoor setting or a portable studio set up in any location of your choice. You are welcome to have both indoor and outdoor options within your photoshoot.

I am based in Shepshed, so often work in Derby, Nottingham and Leicester.
